Land art made on Abandoned Mine Land in West Virginia. Form inspired by circular markings found on the ocean discovered to be mating rituals created by the male white spotted pufferfish. I chose the site as it was a 'special place' which had a deposition of silt forming a natural focal point in the landscape.
Completed as part of the 2025 GROW Externship for underrepresented climate scientists, hosted by The Sludge Hub.
